The challenge
Due to a lease end our client made a commercial decision to relocate to a new office locally in the prime location of Coeur Défense in the business district of Paris.
The floor space occupied is 49,000 sq ft over two floors and was provided by the Landlord in a part Cat A fit out. The project was undertaken on design and build basis where PSG was appointed as Project Manager and Principal Contractor, subcontracting to local companies, having responsibility for the overall design and delivery of the project using mainly local contractors and UK contractors. The project started on site in the peak of the pandemic – November 2020 and was completed in in July 2021. Under heavy restrictions including travel from the UK, having no cases of Covid or delay to the works was a credit to all involved.
