THE PSG PROCESS & METHODOLOGY
Project Brief & Analysis
Informal/formal conversations will be held with personnel within your organisation to establish your company requirements and business structure.
All shortlisted buildings should be viewed with your business requirements in mind. We would also determine the specification and condition of the base build services.
By carrying out Feasibility Planning to your selected buildings, it is possible to ascertain their suitability to your business and future expansion by providing test fits and block plans.
Upon selecting your preferred building we will space plan the floors in line with your project brief, requirements and design aesthetics.
Concept & 3D Visualisation
Our visualisations range from conceptual sketches to photo-real visuals. These help you visualise the space in greater detail than would otherwise be possible in the two dimensional planning. Visuals also increase understanding, stimulate discussion and provide realistic expectations.
Finishes & Fittings
Our design team will work closely with you to provide a palette of finishes and fittings to suit your corporate identity and personal taste. Our extensive library can be used to pull together any number of bespoke combinations to fit within your budget.
Understanding your business and preferred methods of working allows us to help select furniture solutions to meet your needs. We can organise showroom visits to aid you in selecting the right solution.
Budget & Specification
Detailed budget proposals and costs clearly itemise all aspects of the project to ensure complete transparency at all stages. Working together we will ensure your project is financially monitored from start to finish providing cost certainty and peace of mind.
A detailed Construction Programme/Schedule will be produced, providing a timeline from commencement to completion of your project. This is continually monitored to ensure your target and project delivery dates are met.
A formal construction contract will be drawn up between PSG and your business upon agreeing the design scheme, contract drawing, project value and construction programme.
Legislation & Approvals
We undertake and manage the process of applying for/submitting statutory applications (Building Control, CDM (if applicable)) required to procure your project.
Health & Safety
- Manage compliance
- Ensure all employees are involved in the development of risk management and safe working practices
- Maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
Weekly client and contractor meetings are held on site to ensure all parties are kept up to date as the project progresses.
Testing & Commissioning
Upon completion of a project we will ensure that all base build systems are fully operational and we have certificates of compliance from local authorities, building control and fire departments.
Coordinating the relocation of staff and equipment to your new premises including detailed planning to show the location and destination of equipment being moved.
The PSG team will be on site until the very last day to ensure you have a seamless handover upon the completion of your project. We understand the last 5% of every project is the most important, ensuring the business is fully operational before we leave site.
Manuals & Training
A copy of all Operational and Maintenance documentation is provided upon handover, including:
- Copies of all test certification
- Statutory approval documentation
- Copies of all warranties
- Record ‘as built’ drawings
- Furniture documentation
